The hotel is not a 4-star hotel, the promotional images are processed and do not reflect the reality. The hotel is old and dazzled. Both, the staff and the owner were extremely rude. I had the worst experience ever. Very limited breakfast, table napkins are limited to 1 piece per person. The restaurant closes at 20 o'clock and the bar at 22. You can not socialize in the hotel, it is not suitable for families with children and for groups. In the lobby there is a coffee machine with a programmed socket and the operation is interrupted between 22 and 7 AM.
To bad that there is no 0 star option. We were 3 families who chose to have our dinner here. I will spare the details, and just let the word disaster be the head line. Chewy dry meat, not possible to order dessert 20.50 because the warm kitchen closes 21.00! The extremely rude owner refused card payment and the bills were wrong. I'm in Abtenau minimum twice per year, and I will never again set my feet at this restaurant. I will recommend the neighbouring restaurants.
NOT RECOMMEND for anyone. We travel with kids. Also they said it is a family hotel, IT is not. They offer services on their site... but when you arrive here, you get it: -jacuzzi :not working -wellness area, open until 7pm...so... if you ski(on winter)... have no time to relax there -they count the napkins from the table:once, i dare to ask for extra napkins.... and they told ME.
