Was super nice! Super nice staff, loved the food and the view was breathtaking! Can only recommend
Amazing hotel at the base of the Rax mountains, with many trails leading up and down the mountain, some of these even used by Sigmund Freud when he used to live here. Well-kept, clean and modern hotel with all rooms having a jaw dropping view. Would really recomend both during the summer and winter seasons.
This place has a nice view and does serve good food. There is nothing to complain about there. The service on the other hand was terrible. We did not stay there for the night but just wanted to refresh before hiking up the mountain on a particularly hot day. We asked beforehand and were nicely directed to a table outside. 15minutes later we got asked to pay (but not leave). That could have been an misunderstanding and we did not think too much of it until my wife coming out of the toilet got asked very unfriendly and very insistive if she was planning to consume something and what she was doing there, even as my wife told her (the woman asking) she was only waiting for me and we already consumed something. Combined with the fauxpas before this incident made our short visit there very unpleasant and we do not see bad behaviour on our side that warrants such treatment. We did ask before if we can consume drinks there, it was not particularly full (at least 50% of the tables empty) and we were neither rude nor loud.
