Very pleasant hotel in a picturesque town. Stylishly furnished with positive energy and modernly furnished rooms with a beautiful view of the mountains and comfortable beds. 5-course dinner and excellent breakfast with fresh juices and everything that belongs to a quality hotel breakfast. Very pleasant and helpful staff gives this family hotel a specific charm. Nice wellness and pools, lots of interesting activities in the area. Ideal with children or a dog. I have been to dozens of 5 stars hotels from China to America, but this setup and overall impression surpasses all of them and we will be happy to return here.
I spent a perfect week at the Lowe - pronounce it 'Lerver' - the food was great with 6 delicious but (mostly..) healthy courses every night. The staff were sweet and helpful and the ski shuttle to the lift works on demand so was very convenient. This is Austria so obviously everything was immaculate; I didn't visit the spa area but it looked steamy and beautiful. I hired skis from the Riedlsperger across the way - very helpfully they will collect your equipment from the hotel at the end of your stay. It was very young family-friendly, whilst also keeping the older guests happy. (There's a very quiet drag lift 2 minutes away, which my kids would have loved aged about 3-8 to blow off energy in the evenings) Leogang itself is pretty, with some nice walks along streams and through the forest, as well as a couple museums.
The hotel is excellent! From the moment of booking (we did it directly via WhatsApp) until check-out, we felt like welcome guests! Everything is very beautiful, and the staff is friendly. Breakfast, snacks, and dinner – all at a high level! The 5-course set menu for dinner was a delight every time! As for the downsides, I’d like to note the following: - In the Family Spa (ground floor), where swimsuits are allowed in the saunas, some visitors walked around completely naked (both men and women). It would be better if this were allowed only in the adults-only section (5th floor), where children are not permitted. I’m not a prude, but it was uncomfortable; - There is no kettle or coffee machine in the room; - The transparent door to the shower (i.e., it’s visible from the room) – we booked a room for 2 adults and 1 child (7 years old). The transparent door was a bit surprising and not the most comfortable setup; - The toilet can only be accessed through the bathroom; the light turns on simultaneously in both the bathroom and toilet, so at night, when you need to visit the toilet, the light shines through the transparent door and illuminates the whole room.
