Der Waldhof

Wow, what a place. Of course, the infinity pool overlooking the old castle is absolutely unique and breathtaking - but beyond that, the whole area felt so peaceful. It’s tucked away in a beautiful, foresty and mountainous area that really makes you slow down. We stayed in their new hotel wing, which had these bright, sunny rooms with huge windows and a bathtub. The breakfast spread was amazing, and every night they had plenty of vegetarian options too, which we really appreciated. One of the highlights was the forest breakfast - they set up a table in the woods near the hotel, and it honestly felt magical. The staff were all so kind and welcoming. Just an all-around incredible stay. Highly recommend.

We stayed at the hotel for a week’s family skiing and couldn’t fault it. We stayed in a family suite which was modern, clean and had plenty of space. The facilities for children are fantastic, every night they spent ample time in the football court, ball pit and kids areas, which were spotless. A fantastic family run hotel, we prefer the modern look, so pleased we paid for the newly built suite. Food was varied and plenty of it. Ski bus 1min walk from the front door. We will definitely stay again

Just back from a fantastic week with my family at Der Waldhof. Family Suite was modern and large. Food was varied and very good quality. Clean pool and spa facilities were welcome after a days skiing. Staff were friendly and efficent. Location is a few mins walk or bus from town and gondola. We don't normally stay in the same place twice but we might make an exception here :)
