Derby City Gaming & Hotel A Churchill Downs Property

This was my second time coming to this casino and I really enjoy coming here! The rooms are always beautiful and clean! The entire casino itself is clean and nice and I like that the smoking part of the casino is off to itself behind its own sliding doors to keep the majority of cigarette smoke out of the entire casino, unlike Caesars where it’s all one big open room and the whole place just smells like cigarettes! I have left a winner both times I have visited and the machines give you bonuses often to keep you playing and having fun! The staff at this casino are always so pleasant and kind, which is always appreciated! I travel from Indiana just to visit this casino and I highly recommend it!

I’m staying at the Derby Casino Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky and booked a suite. While the suite itself is beautiful, there’s no WiFi available, which I desperately need for work, and the staff didn’t accommodate me in any way. Additionally, the booking clearly stated that the room comes with a $20 casino credit, but it fails to mention that this is only for first-time guests and requires signing up at the casino. The front desk simply told me to handle it there, but if that’s the policy, the online booking description needs to be updated to reflect it accurately. Overall, I haven’t received the experience I expected from a suite at this price point. For $350 a night, I anticipated much better hospitality and feel completely undervalued. I could have stayed at a two-star hotel, saved money, and gotten the same lackluster treatment.

It's a nice & friendly clean safe environment,but u only win if u are upper levels!! I've been going over a year now & no matter how much money I spend big or little I haven't won anything. I feel like im just helping the casino get rich!!!
