Desa Oculus

Such a beautiful experience at Desa Oculus! The room was next level amazing, outstanding view of the lake. Food was incredibly yummy and fresh, it was my birthday and they even organized a special cake and sang to me. I had the facial at the spa which was so relaxing and fabulous and left feeling like a new woman! And the service was some of the best I’ve had in Bali - staff were next level accommodating and lovely and welcoming. It was actually my second time here, because last year was so good, I booked again. Highly recommend this spot 👌🏼

We stayed in a Garden View Room at Desa Oculus and had such a peaceful few days. The staff were kind and thoughtful, always ready to help with a smile, and the vibe around the place was relaxed and friendly. We had most of our meals at the hotel, and the food was full of flavour, especially the local dishes. Breakfasts were generous and the setting made each meal feel special. The rooftop pool was definitely a highlight. Floating there with the mountains in view felt so calm and grounding. Every part of the stay felt cared for, from the design to the small details. It’s the kind of place that helps you slow down and feel really present. We'd love to come back.

We only stayed for a night but this hotel delivers on everything we expected. The views were amazing, the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Suma in particular was a lifesaver. We had forgotten our motorcycle key outside and he was quick to recognize that it was ours. Top notch service! The rooms were extremely comfortable and our garden view with the mountain lake background was unforgettable. I can totally understand why some people have a bad experience when it comes to noise but they have done a great job communicating any potential downsides in advance so we were prepared. The rooms located at the main building on the first level are very quiet so no issue for us. We will definitely return at our next opportunity!
