Desert Springs Resort

Wonderful resort. We just got back from spending four days there. The service is impeccable in every interaction from reception to golf caddie to restaurant staff. The resort is spotless. There is everything from a world class cricket ground, to tennis courts, well equipped gym and obviously a brilliant golf course. It is a bit of a drive from the Murcia airport which took about 1.5 hours, but it is worth it and there are some nice restaurants at the port area arpund 25 minutes away if you wanted to go out and explore. I'd highly recommend it.

4 night, 3 round golf trip to Desert Springs. Fuller review on Trip Advisor but overall very happy. Quality golf course in very good condition, good standard of accommodation and excellent food and drink in the clubhouse. Would not hesitate to recommend to avid golfers - golf can be slow as we found but that is typical of resort golf with the mix of abilities and attitudes to pace of play. Would absolutely consider a return if planning another trip to Spain for golf.

If you're a golfer you will probably enjoy this resort. Vast, well maintained and friendly staff. If you're not a golfer the location is boring, expensive and not authentic. Far from everything; you need a car to go to a grocery store, the environment has nothing to offer and the nearest beaches are not worth the visit.
