Design Hotel Winterrot

Starting off with the rooms. The bed was comfy. I did bring my own pillow, so I haven't tested the ones at the hotel. The room looks nice. Nothing too fancy, but it does feel slightly luxurious in a way. At one point, the airco turned on, which made it a little cold. But I could easily turn it off and control the temperature in the room. They also had scent sticks that smelt nice, but it was too strong for me, so I put them in the closet. No problem. Everything is really soundproof in the room. You can hear nothing from outside the room, which is real nice. Now about the service. The man behind the desk when we checked in was a friendly individual. He told us about the dinner times, and when we later walked downstairs, he smiled at us. After dinner, he asked us how it was, seeming to really want to know our opinion. The restaurant worker was also friendly. She asked us beforehand if we wanted English menus. Now, I do want to note that the English translated menus weren't translated that well. So maybe this is a point to note down for the restaurant? Moving on, the sun was in my eyes, so I asked if she could lower the blinds a little, which she did happily. She was patient with us because at some points, we had a little deciding trouble. The woman at the breakfast who checked us in was also patient and understanding when the communication was a little wonky. I also want to tell a little about the food. The restaurant looks great and cosy. It closed at 10 or 9 (I don't remember). But I took like 10 minutes longer, eating my food. And the staff patiently waited for us to finish. I had the veggie burger, and it was amazing. Very delicious. I definitely recommend it. Lastly, about the location. The hotel is located at an industrial site, which is not the nicest view. The parking was very good, though. It was a private parking lot for the hotel. We did go out for a walk, and there was a town very nearby, so that was nice. The crickets were really annoying, though. They were so ear piercingly loud that I had to close my window. Has nothing to do with the hotel itself, but I still wanted to mention it.

Fantastic hotel, very neat and clean. Modern boutique hotel. Owners are very nice and welcoming. Very good restaurant. We recommend this hotel. Planning to be back on the next trip. Safe area.

As a business traveller the location was ideal as I was close to my final destination. The hotel is modern, clean and relaxing to stay night.
