Such a nice resort!! The villa had a large private pool and was cleaned regularly. The staff in particular was exceptional. The driver, Argyris, is very personable and drives responsibly. He always showed up on time and recommended nice places to visit. It was hard saying goodbye to him! The front desk concierge, Michael, was also very accommodating and professional. The staff truly made the experience feel like a 5-star one in addition to the nice amenities and villa. Would definitely recommend.

A Peaceful Slice of Santorini This was our second stay at Desiterra Hotel, and it was even better than the first. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Fira and the crowded tourist spots, this hotel offers a peaceful, private escape ideal for those looking for a sophisticated, luxurious stay without the overwhelming tourist vibe. We stayed in a two-bedroom villa with a private pool, which was perfect for our family of four. The villa was spacious, beautifully maintained, and offered total privacy, it truly felt like our own little retreat. The entire property is serene, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a calm, exclusive atmosphere that’s rare to find on such a popular island. One of the things we loved most is the location. Desiterra sits on the quieter, opposite side of the island from the Caldera, meaning you get breathtaking sunrise views every morning — a totally different and equally magical Santorini experience. Since we had a car, it was easy to explore the entire island over our five-day stay, and it always felt so nice to return to this tranquil oasis at the end of the day. The hotel team was kind and welcoming, and everything about our stay felt smooth and easy. I can’t recommend Desiterra enough to anyone seeking luxury, privacy, and a more authentic, relaxed way to experience Santorini. We will absolutely be back again.

We have visited Desiterra in July 2025 and stayed at the honeymoon villa with private pool which was an amazing place. The villa was spacious and well-designed, crowned by the large pool. The breakfast was very nice, as you can order freshly made dishes from the menu. The only thing that would have been more suitable at the breakfast was fresh juice and coffee, compared to concentrate and filter coffee, other than that it was perfect. Very friendly, capable, and extremely helpful staff
