This hotel stay was a good rest stop following a long day of driving from Southern Germany, prior to taking the ferry over to Fyn Island. The location on a walking street, with off-street parking was ideal. The room was comfortable, though it showed its age. One area missed by the cleaning personal was addressed professionally. I have to say that the breakfast buffet was a real highlight.

Self registration and check out, the easiest! Lovely balcony, very close to the bus and train station. Breakfast was good.

We stayed here in order to attend a friend‘s wedding. The place itself is located very central. The weddings take place directly in the building, so it is the most convenient accommodation for this purpose. There is a supermarket and a bakery nearby. Furthermore there are a few pizza restaurants and barber shops around. Worth to mention is the pub nearby that is opened until deep at night. It is an old school smoker’s club with unique locals where you can get nothing but beer and shots. There’s nothing special about this place, but it has a cozy, “honest” atmosphere and is totally fine for a drink or two. The hotel itself is quite run down. Check-in is possible after 3 pm and unfortunately there is no place to lock the luggage. We did not see anyone at the reception during our stay, but the room code worked for both the room and the front door. The room is “ok”, but nothing special. Curtains were not working properly and the bed sheets did not seem to be fresh. The worst thing is the noise from the neighbours. The walls are thin like paper such that you can hear every noise. Overall the place is ok for a night or two, but don’t expect too much. Breakfast is ok and offers choice of the basic stuff you need. In my opinion it is only a 3 star hotel, so the price is not justified.
