Great location within walking distance to everything. The hotel has an old school charm, with exposed beams, creaky floors, etc. our room was bright and nice. Only issue? The pub noise from across the street on Friday and Saturday nights goes until 3am. We had to close the windows.
This was our favorite hotel we've ever stayed in! Great location in the heart of town, but completely quiet in the room. It's been recently updated and it's all beautiful—I want my home bathroom to look like this! Friendly, helpful staff. And an amazing breakfast selection! We were in a deluxe room with pitched roof. Very comfortable bed.
Unfortunately stayed only one night as this hotel was full. The room was pretty. Not a big thing but a part of the floor was not level probably due to the historical building. The location was good, touristic, and convenient. It was in early May and the night was calm which was good for us to rest. Wish we could have stayed more to enjoy the hotel, location and the city of Bergen.
