The property looks amazing and the rooms really tidy. It’s a pet friendly place which is a ++ to travel with animals. The breakfast doesn’t offer a lot of choices and there are no eggs available.

The bedding was substandard, mattress was deeply sinking and bed was loudly creaking at every move. The rooms are big and pet-friendly, but are very dark, with no window to speak of: if you stay in winter they are gloomy as you can't leave the door open and can not enjoy the outdoors. Floor is rough stones, very cold in winter, probably great for summer. Wifi kept disconnecting. The villa is located in a gated compound, several km from any food place. Positive: great parking, good bathroom. Breakfast was nice. Owner was attentive to our needs, but looked surprised at our comment about the bed quality, even though many reviews mention it, dating from several months ago. Altogether, very overpriced for low quality.

We had a very negative experience with this place. We booked for one night on our way to Portugal. Since we were travelling with our 1 year old son,we wanted somewhere with a living room and a separate bedroom and had found this place on booking advertising as such (so we could be somewhere after he goes to bed) When we arrived it was just one big room, not even the bathroom had a door! Also it was extremely cold inside, 15 degrees. Since it was December and too cold outside,we asked the owner if we could sit in the room next door after our son had gone to bed (we were the only guests). He refused and said then we would have to pay in full for another room. Very disappointing and horrible service since it was their mistake advertising it wrong not ours. Also they wanted to charge us for breakfast for a 1 year old! So we left and stayed somewhere else. Even if we were only a couple,it is VERY expensive for what you get, the rooms are not very inviting
