Dhawa Cayo Santa Maria

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dhawa Resort , Cayo Las Brujas, Cuba, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were amazed by the beauty of the resort. Very clean rooms , hot water , A/C , safe in the room.The beach is absolutely stunning—white sand, crystal-clear water, and the most breathtaking sunrise.Pool area -clean and quiet!24 h snack bar - very convenient for late arrivals. The gardens in the resort were lush, vibrant, and meticulously cared for, adding to the tropical paradise atmosphere.Could tell the gardeners took good pride in their work! Huge thank you to Riobeto for the beautiful flowers! Also huge shout-out to the amazing nautical team led by Moises! Dionisious and the others made our time on the water a highlight of the trip. Their professionalism, expertise, and friendly nature truly made our experience exceptional. I want to thank Barbara at customer service for her warmth and dedication—she was always ready to help with any request.Anything you need - go see her! Food was good and enough! Diner at the restaurant was delicious! Fresh fish daily! No shortage of any drinks! Coffee?? ..con leche ! Must mention tus bar and the snack bar at the beach - cheerful , polite and helpful! Thank you Marvelious for all your care make us yammy lunches , fresh salads and fruit plates! I want to expressmy heartfelt thanks to all of the staff at Dhawa Resort.Their hospitality and kindness made our stay even more special, and we felt truly cared for. Good family resort, beautiful bay beach almost private (shared with another resort). Nice and clean pools. Good entertainment team, food was good mostly sea food, and Cuban dishes available (rice and beans), some pasta, desserts as well. The snack bar was decent too but perhaps could add more selection, items like soda, pizza. Be on the look out for the pool lay down chairs as some are missing screws and you can easily take a fall. The weight room had a decent size, it held some free weights, machines, cardio equipments. The tennis court and soccer field could use some upgrades. It also has a retail store offering beauty products, a souvenir stand nearby. The majority of the staff are nice, only a few with a bad attitude but you get that really anywhere, is for you to judge I guess. Definitely a good buy and place to relax and soak up the sun! No car rental on-site. Free wifi services too, it works well.

My partner and I had a lovely stay at the Dhawa Resort. All the staff we interacted with were really friendly and worked hard to please us, and other guests; 5 stars for them. The room we had (read more details below) we rate at 4 stars. We rate the location at 4 stars only because the sand at the beach only extends into the water about 20-30 meters to a depth of about 1.8 meters; which is deep enough to have a nice swim. Then the bottom extending seaward is covered with Coral. The grounds are extremely well landscaped and cared for; very beautiful. All public spaces are well appointed with seating and are kept very clean at all times. The food we experienced had a nice variety and was plentiful. More details are below.
