Di Mare

A great gem of the island with excellent service, smiley people and devotion to cleaning. Free of charge umbrellas on the beach, lots of interesting people to chat with, great breakfast and food served. Greatly rested and relaxed!

The room had a really unusual design. If you get up at night to use the bathroom, watch your step — literally! There’s this random step right next to the bed, and if you lose your balance, there’s nothing to stop you from falling. A simple handrail there would make a big difference. Another thing: the bathroom had no place to hang the showerhead. I’ve noticed this is pretty common in Greece, but I still don’t understand why. Without it, you end up using way more water. A simple bracket would easily fix this. On the positive side, the staff were extremely polite and always smiling. The breakfast was rich and varied. The private beach is a big plus, especially for families with kids. Overall, I think the place was overpriced for what it offered. I don’t think I’d stay here again.

The photos and reality is completely different. We will make complaints to the authorities as we slipped in the bathtub as it was painted in epoxy or a slippery material and hit our head and hip! We got injured and we are trapped on the island because of the cancellation of all the ferries like other tourists. I do not recommend this island and the hotels either. Also the low ceiling signal is on when you climb up the stairs going to the room. There are only 3/4 set of sunbeds on the beach and it is not enough. The hotel is said to have stars and it cannot even get a 1 star.
