I spent 2 days here and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The resort is spacious with lots of greenery. I stayed in a bungalow near the beach — large room, nice balcony view, though the interior felt a bit outdated. Private beach is decent, though the water was slightly murky due to silt. The swimming pool is big and clean. Breakfast buffet had plenty of options. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Wi-Fi was a bit weak at times, and it got noisy in the morning due to group activities. Still, it was a relaxing getaway overall — perfect for families or friends looking to unwind.
Lovely hotel with spacious rooms amongst scenic gardens right on private beach. Lovely pool area. Buffet breakfast good, although most hot food is cold with exception of freshly cooked eggs. Good choice of items though, just a shame about feeding time at zoo with the coach loads of other guests staying there!
We stayed at diamond bay for two nights. Overall, it is a very nice estate. The food was good, a little bit pricier than what you’re used to in Vietnam, but ok for a resort like this. The rooms are nice, shower was good. However, the place seems to lack a bit of maintenance everywhere. My safe was broken, and even though they promised me twice to quickly fix it, no one showed up. On the second day, I wasn’t able to get back into my room. The reception told me that the key card is working fine, so they sent one of their staff with me, who was also not able to open the door. A few minutes later a mechanic came and fixed the problem quickly by replacing the battery. I asked him to also fix the safe, but he called for another colleague who then came shortly after and replaced another battery. They have a very beautiful private beach, that is only usable half of the day on high tide. The white sand is unfortunately littered with cigarette remains, and I also found some around the pool. It seems a lot of corners and details are not really well taken care of. I tried to order drinks at the pool three times via QR code as advised, but no one brought the order that I had to manually pick up every time. I did see the order on their screen however so I assume they just did not want to bring it in the high temperatures. In the pool they have toys for kids that you have to rent for (small) money. Personally, to me it feels like this place has seen better days, which is a shame, because the foundation is there for it to be a very nice resort. Right now for me it does not live up to their 5 star standard. I would not stay here again, but take one of the many alternatives around.
