The room is good. The shower cabin is small. They clean it daily. The quality of cleaning is good. There is no laundry service. There is no food service in the room. The location is excellent.
The remains of what was a 4 star hotel - at this point 3 stars is generous. Cleanliness was okay at best. Carpets are old and not well maintained. Service is minimal. Shower is too small. Location is great. Not the worst choice on a budget overall, but far from a luxurious or fancy hotel.
My recent stay at this hotel was far from ideal and certainly did not live up to the expectations of a 4-star establishment. The most significant issue was the rude behavior of the staff. We had paid extra for an additional bed, only to receive a super stiff and wonky one. We requested a proper mattress to be placed on top of it, but were yelled at by the staff. Furthermore, the showers in the room were noticeably too small.
