Diplomat Palace Hotel

Very clean hotel, breakfast are delicious. Rooms cleaned daily, Aircon in the room, nice view and first line hotel to the beach. The only thing which we didn't like is that the hotel has a private beach, but you still have to pay for an umbrella and sunbed on the beach. The hotel is giving you a voucher for it which is only a discount. Apparently it is a standard everywhere, but we were very surprised and disappointed as the price is not cheap.

Rooms are quite small but very clean. A bit disturbing was that even if it was off season and not very crowded you could hear everything: people talking, alarms in the morning, someone throwing up from close rooms. Too warm in the room even if we turned the heating off. It turned on again when we left the room. We did sleep the balcony door open even in January. Breakfast was very rich and tasty. Good coffee and friendly and helpful staff. Good hairdryer, outdated TV.

Avoid this hostel! I booked a triple room with breakfast through booking.com at this hotel and although I should have paid at the reception, after a few days the money was withdrawn from my Revolut account and after I asked why this happened, I was refunded the money but after another week...and when I arrived at this unfinished hotel from the construction outside, I only received a very small double room with an extra bed for the child and the room was very dirty and full of ants! ,,The SPA center is very dirty and consists of two small bathtubs in which the water is dirty and the hydromassage does not really work...but the worst thing was that after I handed over the room and paid cash at the reception, the next day the money was withdrawn again from my account and the reservation was canceled by the hotel as if we had not shown up on the day we had the reservation!! As a result, I notified the Italian police, booking.com, and revolut about what happened by email, and now I'm waiting to recover the money stolen from my account!
