We really enjoyed our stay here at Sea Breeze. Location was nice and close to the beach (walking distance). We had a great room with great views all around. Free carpark included with our room - carpark was very narrow but fine to navigate. Reception was friendly and accommodating in having our room cleaned earlier. Only downside and feedback was after our room was cleaned, the tiled area in the kitchen and both bathrooms was really slippery. Whatever cleaning product was used wasn’t cleaned up properly afterwards and left a thick residue (slip hazard). Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would come back.
Stayed here for 3 nights and it wasn’t really pleasant stayed. The reception open from 9am to 5pm . Here are some pros and cons, Pros : *Great location, the beach just 2 mins by foot, lots of restaurants, cafe, bars and other convenient shops (including chemist, coles, 7eleven) within walking distance. The bus stop is just 1 mins away. The sea life and the wharf only 4 mins walking distance. * The reception lady at the front gave us a great services, very helpful, friendly and nice. She helped us to check in early. We got the room around 12pm. * Have free parking Cons : *Old and outdated furniture and appliances. The building manager need to consider to replaced some of the furniture and the appliances. The water dripping off from the Aircon. The kettle has a black stain at the bottom (We informed the receptionist about this and she replaced our kettle with the other one) . Had to press the remote TV hardly in order for it to work. The mattress is old and uncomfortable to sleep on. * The room wasn’t really clean, found the carpet wasn’t vacuumed properly. Saw the vacuum cleaner inside the wardrobe and tried to vacuum the room myself just to found out the vacuum cleaner wasn’t work. * The cooking appliances is dirty and wasn’t washed properly. We had full kitchen appliances in the room but decided to eat out and not to cook or use any kitchen appliances due to the hygiene.(we just made tea using the new kettle she gave us). Overall great for the location and services but not for the cleanliness and facilities.
i would like to share a number of concerns regarding the condition of the room and the follow-up we've received so far. Upon arrival, we noticed that the floor and couch were quite dirty, and there were used towels or clothing left inside the washing machine. We immediately reported this to reception, and a staff member kindly came to vacuum the floor and couch. However, the items in the washing machine were not removed as promised. We followed up later that afternoon and were assured someone would collect the items, but until we left, they are still there despite several additional calls. Each time, we’ve been told that someone would come, yet no one has followed through. In addition to this, we found the kettle to be broken and we couldn't open the lid to fill it with water for coffee or tea, and the doona/blanket provided was in an unclean and unacceptable condition. We honestly felt disgusted because I now cannot trust that anything in here is clean. I’ve attached photos of all of these issues and sent them to their email, but no response I felt so embarrassed in front of my kids and husband. I was the one who booked the place, and it cost a lot. They ended up blaming me for ruining the whole holiday because of the accommodation.
