Dirty Bottles

The room is tremendously great, clean, spacious, comfy and cozy. The location is the best, close to free 24-hr public park and Alnwick Castle within 3-min walk. The breakfast is super delicious, great portion and outstanding bakery.

Amazing service! Rooms were clean and tidy, stunning decor. If it was cold you could turn on the radiators, fan provided for warmer days. TV was hidden away but not in a bad way- only to make the room look more on theme which I loved! Breakfast was great, large selection and overall I would definitely recommend.

The Good Bits This place has a fantastic location—we had a room right above the bar, yet it was surprisingly quiet. It's charming, cosy, and full of character. The mattress is incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom is beautifully designed. Plus, the food here is exceptional. The Not-So-Good Bits Unfortunately, the guests in the room above us were very noisy—children running and screaming for hours with no noticeable soundproofing between the floors. The windows were also a hassle to open and close, as they were hard to reach without moving the furniture, which we had to do. While the bathroom is visually stunning, it feels stark and cold, making it uncomfortable to spend much time in. A chair or some softer elements would help it feel less clinical and more inviting—a missed opportunity, as it could be a great space to relax after a day of exploring. The staff, overall, seemed indifferent, as if helping guests was more of a chore. Maybe they were having a bad day, but it didn’t leave a great impression.
