Discovery Boracay

I had a truly memorable stay at Discovery Shores Boracay. From the moment I arrived, the staff welcomed me with warm smiles and genuine hospitality that immediately made me feel at home. The room I stayed in had a stunning view — waking up every morning to the sight of the sparkling turquoise waters and white sand was absolutely breathtaking. The food was another highlight of my trip. Every meal I had was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. I especially enjoyed the variety in the breakfast buffet, offering both local Filipino favorites and international dishes. Dining here felt like a culinary journey in itself. The hotel’s location is also exceptional — right on the beachfront and close to everything, yet still peaceful enough to relax and unwind. I spent my days enjoying the beautiful swimming pool, the well-maintained beach area, and the comfortable loungers. The facilities were modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed to give guests a luxurious experience. What made my stay even more special was the attentive and friendly service. Every request was handled with care, and I truly felt valued as a guest. I had such a wonderful time here and will definitely be returning. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Boracay!

I have been going to Discovery Shores since 2008/09 and only stay here when I visit Boracay. This is our home there and they always treat us well. The service is world-class and I always say this is the best hotel in the world because of it. The people are amazing. It was good to see Jigs, Pabs and other old familiar faces still working there. Lester, Ace, Richard, LJ, Mara always took care of us in the F&B area. We also had a great experience at the Terra Wellness spa - sea salt scrub and full body massage.

Pros: - Spacious and comfortable rooms. - Seamless airport transfers. - Tasty breakfast options. - Welcome drinks and snacks upon arrival. - Most staff are friendly and courteous. - Great shuttle service. - Quality room service food. Cons: Mostly on inconsistent level of service. - Missed a turn-down service despite us calling to request it. - Some staff members lack attentiveness, particularly during breakfast and at the beach towel service. Guests aren’t greeted or assigned tables at breakfast, and staff may ask for your room number a few times while enjoying the buffet. Barista-made coffee is not consistently offered, and table clearing is slow. - Beach towel service is also hit-or-miss. None of the amenities seen on influencer content except for the pandan water, which was only provided upon request rather than proactively offered. Overall, it was a decent stay, but the resort’s marketing oversells the level of service provided.
