The park was clean and tidy. Our cabin was well stocked and clean. Management was super quick organising a new pump for the splash park that kids seemed to enjoy. Very well run place, great location too!
We tried to book a powered site for 2 nights online ($77) but it wouldn't let us. So I called and they said they only had availability for 1 night, so we booked that - to be paid when we arrived. My partner went in and paid upon arrival and I found out later it was $45 for the night. We are G'day parks members too. The next morning after I found out how much he had paid, I went to the front desk to question it. The ladies on reception were extremely rude, didn't offer a refund and proceeded to tell me that online is different to booking & paying through the park??????? I expressed that if someone had told me that, I would have simply booked the 1 night online. They were just completely dismissive of me and shrugged their shoulders. In addition, we wanted to stay here to use the pool and splash park for our 2yo, however to our disappointment, when we arrived we found out that the pool is out of action. It would have been nice if someone had told us that upon booking. Generally speaking, we've had a good experience with g'day parks, but the service at this particular park really lets them down and we would never recommend to anyone and we will never stay there again.
Racq booked 2 of us here for 2 nights. Cabin 45 had mould covering the external wall and windows on the outside. Cooktop looked like it was from the 70s, functional but this is 2025 and rates are 2025. Tv sits on top of wardrobe just clearing ceiling. Crockery and cutlery were clean however tiny meat ants appeared on sink and any packets of food within minutes. Small bar fridge had a freezer which had ice consuming more space than was left for food. The vertical blinds at the very old front galss sliding door were missing some of the vertical slats so you could see straight into the room at night. The park laundry was locked closed with a sheet of galvanised tin and a note saying closed, staff advised had been that way for over a week and no idea when reopens. The air conditioner was quite new and worked well. The park is quite aged, the park borders 2 main roads, sitting behind a service station which you exit through. I had no issues with staff but really, mould on external walls and windows!!! $30 bottle of wet and forget at bunnings and 10 mins labour would offer customers a much better first impression. I would not recommend.
