Our favorite Disney resort by far. They never disappoint. We have stayed here many times and our most recent visit was last week. We checked in and had a little Pixie dust upgrade on our room! It was a great surprise and just made the experience that much better. The staff is great, the food options are excellent and the location is unbeatable. There nothing better like the smell of the lobby on check in day! We absolutely love it here. Thank you, staff, for always making everything enjoyable.

Wonderful rooms with 2 showers, great for family of 4 to get quick showers in! Loved the private balcony. Kids loved splash pad and water slide. I liked convenience of resort cup refills and ease of getting to parks.

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is a stunning, tropical escape right in the heart of Walt Disney World. From the moment you arrive, the lush landscaping, welcoming atmosphere, and island-inspired décor make you feel like you're on vacation even before you hit the parks. The location is unbeatable, with quick monorail access to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, and watching the fireworks from the beach is truly magical. Our room was spacious, clean, and well-themed, with thoughtful Disney touches that didn’t feel overdone. Resort activities were a big plus—we loved the evening dance party and outdoor movie night, both perfect for winding down after a long day. The one area that fell short was the dining experience. During peak dinner hours, the self-order and pickup system at Capt. Cook’s felt like the Hunger Games. It was chaotic, our food was grabbed by other guests, and our order actually went missing one night. With no room service available, it added stress when we were already tired and just needed an easy meal. For such a high-end resort, we expected a more organized and relaxing dining option. Still, the overall vibe, the beautiful setting, the convenience, and the fun family activities made this a really special place to stay. With just a bit more structure around quick-service dining and more dining options in general, this would be a solid five-star experience. We’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it—just plan ahead for meals!
