I came home wanting a new bed, the bed in our room was so so comfortable, best sleep. The room was clean and tidy. The shower over bath is a little dated but the pressure was good and it was hot so no worries. Would stay here again definitely. Friendly staff who let us know everything we needed to know. Location is great.
For charging a premium, the hotel lacks basic amenities like Netflix or cable TV! Restaurant has limited menu options and in room dinning has additional delivery charges. Very underwhelming experience considering the room charges. Only positive, big rooms and superb housekeeping staff. Reception staff very unexpressive like a pumpkin.
An OK stay. Meal was good. Did think that in an 11 floor hotel with only 25 guest we could have been given a room with a nicer view and one not right next to the elevator shaft. Felt we almost had the place to ourselves, so pretty lifeless all around. The thing that made it disappointing though was going down from our room to the bar at 8:45pm, to be quickly told "Only one drink, bar closes in 10 minutes." Seems like our spending well over $500 for experiencing a night in the city at a hotel wasn't a priority. Great location, but I won't be recommending.
