Divani Meteora Hotel

The hotel was excellent and the breakfast buffet was very inclusive. The pool was clean and the pool bar staff were very helpful. The only item we weren't prepared for was the hotel didn't have anything to offer before 7, no coffee maker in your room and no kiosk in the lobby.

This hotel was booked for us as part of our 3-day, 2-night tour from Athens to Delphi and Meteora. Our tour package included dinner and breakfast at the hotel. This hotel is located right at the base of the towering rock formations of Meteora. The hotel has a large dining area which is set up for large tour bus groups. The food is served buffet style. The hotel has a bar and a pool. Some rooms have great views of the rock formations. We had to go out on the grounds and by the pool to see the rock formations. There is a variety of food served at the buffets. The buffet area seating was nice but crowded. The buffet area was clean and well stocked. For the most part, the food was average. However, there were a few dishes that were quite good. Most of the staff speak several languages. We were able to communicate in English with most of the staff.

Stayed here as part of a Meteora tour on the second floor Location is nice, and we could see the rocks from our balcony, it was a quick walk to all the stores and rest of the city! Interior lounge and dining area of the hotel also felt clean and comfortable Buffet food at dinner and breakfast was good and had a lot of options. And the rooms had all the essentials provided! Main downside of staying here is the leaking bathrooms in the rooms. In the evening, we noticed that there was a leaking panel directly above the toilet, and that it seemed to be from the room above taking a shower. Thankfully the water fell directly into the toilet and did not spill everywhere. We brought up this problem to the front staff and they mentioned that it was likely the room above flooding the bathtub and that they would deal with it in the evening. However, I was woken up by the sound of water hitting the toilet cover early in the morning (which was closed and the water was splashing all over the floor), so the issue was not dealt with. Regardless of if the bathtub was flooding above us, I feel like there should not be a leaking issue between floors, and especially not for a 4-star hotel. Since you could randomly get water dripping on you while using the toilet. And also, while taking a shower, I saw water was leaking from the bottom of the tub even if no water splashed out. Speaking to another guest that stayed on the same floor, they had noticed the same dripping in their bathrooms, so it appears to be not an isolated problem. This was honestly disappointing to find out, and also how the staff did not fix the issue or attempt to patch the leaking panel.
