Diwan Casablanca Hotel & Spa

Hotel is fine, but what really set it apart for me was the attentiveness of the staff. There was a little construction work at the front of the hotel, but that cannot be helped. As soon as I arrived, the staff made sure that everything was comfortable and that I was helped in every way. Most of all, a young lady called Khadija on reception was extraordinary and would be a credit to ANY hotel in the world. She went above and beyond for every single guest and always did it with a smile on her face. I understand it is her job to help, but she seems to derive much pride and happiness from helping others.

Location is great very close to main motorway, port, train/tram/bus station right in the heart of the city. Room was very good, big and well equipped but A/C did not work. Food was just ok, we did not get served a meal our first night and had to make other arrangements even though we had paid for half board. Communication with the staff was lacking but we do not speak french or Arabic so that is partially down to us. Worth a stay for a couple of nights.

Very outdated, WiFi doesn’t work at all, smells kind of weird, AC was broken In our room, staff are okay but not great. Location is good. Not worth the price. Don’t know how this is considered 4 stars.
