I am disappointed! 😔 The staff at the reception were incompetent and unfriendly. I had booked my room via Booking.com, and at checkout, I kindly asked for an invoice. The response I received was rude and unhelpful. The staff member told me to contact Agoda, even though I had booked through Booking.com. I explained that I had always been able to receive an invoice in the past, regardless of the booking platform. Instead of assisting me, she argued with me for about 10 minutes. When I asked her to call the front desk manager, she refused and said the manager was off duty and she wouldn’t disturb her. 😦 When I then asked for the manager’s contact number, she continued arguing and said she couldn’t provide it. 🙂‍↔️ If you need support from the hotel staff, I wouldn’t recommend this place. ☝️ This was my last stay at this hotel.

⚠️ A Warning to Anyone Considering Working at This Hotel – My Personal Experience I’m sharing my experience as a breakfast employee at this hotel, hoping it will serve as a warning for others who might consider working here. I worked from February to May 2025, through an intermediary. The employment contract was only signed after a month and a half, and only after my repeated requests. Also, the Anmeldung (residency registration in Germany) was done very late, even though this requires official confirmation from the hotel that you are staying there. At first, we agreed that my salary would be paid via Revolut, but I was later told that it wasn’t possible and that I had to open a German bank account. I did so, but I never received any letters from the bank—likely because the hotel reception didn’t collect them, even though they were fully aware I was working and living there. ❗The working conditions were far from what was promised. The breakfast lists were often inaccurate, and the actual number of guests didn’t match what was printed. Many times, I was left completely alone to serve 60–70 guests, with insufficient breakfast supplies. After a change in the housekeeping team, I was suddenly told I had to clean the breakfast room, clean at reception, and even wash windows—tasks previously handled by another company. When I refused, the manager told me that €300 would be deducted from my salary. I explained that I started work at 5:30 AM, after waking up at 5:00, and finished around 2 PM, already completely exhausted. I decided to resign and submitted a written Kündigung (termination letter), but to this day it has not been signed or officially acknowledged. I was supposed to work 5 more days out of my 14-day notice, since I had already worked 5 days in advance. I was told that if I didn’t work the final week, I wouldn’t be paid. I refused to accept this pressure and left. I returned home for two weeks and came back on June 18 to check if my salary had been paid. According to the contract, salary should be paid within the first 3 working days of the month, but the May salary was still missing. I tried to contact the manager—who had blocked me—then the hotel owner and the intermediary, but I either received vague answers or no response at all. After many follow-ups, I finally received my payslips, but they were incorrect—it showed that I had only worked half of May, which was not true. On June 25, I received only €200, which does not reflect the actual work I did. When I asked for full payment, I was threatened: they said my documents were fake, and that they had good lawyers who could prove it in court. I am now employed elsewhere. My new employer reviewed my past documents and discovered that the contract was not valid (not official, just a paper) and that no social contributions were paid to the German state on my behalf. This place takes advantage of you as long as you’re useful, and then ignores or even threatens you. There is no transparency, no fairness, and communication is nearly nonexistent. I strongly advise against working at this hotel. There is a clear lack of respect for employees. Don’t accept abusive practices – know your rights and protect your dignity.
