Djerba Holiday Beach

We only spent 36 hours in this hotel but what we've seen already makes us want to come back in future. The place is beautiful with good facilities, the selection of food in the all inclusive. The staff are friendly and the animators who organize entertainment throughout the day and night including discos work extremely hard and tirelessly. A big shout-out to Wiley who is when of the animators his energy and enthusiasm is always 110% no matter the time of day.

Amazing location! Just a 10 meters of the beach. The beach is private with security. In the beach also has a full free bar for the hotel clients. The water sea are very hot, I never see a water from the sea, hot like this! Also in the beach has a lot of sun loungers for free! The hotel is very beautiful, with an amazing architecture. But have some things bad, like the hotel don’t has elevator, because is very old and the corridors of the rooms are very hot. The rooms are not bad, but could have fridge and a better air conditioning. The pool is very big, really very big, and with an incredible pool bar, very practice and cool. The staff people are so kind and polite.

The hotel is located in a nice and quiet area, about 20 minutes from the airport, which was very convenient after a long journey. The surroundings are peaceful, ideal for relaxing. Accommodation: The rooms were clean, with daily housekeeping, fresh towels, and made beds. However, the room furnishings were quite worn and outdated – a renovation would definitely be a plus. That said, since we mostly used the room just to sleep and shower, it didn’t bother us too much. Some insects were seen around the hotel – neighbors claimed they were cockroaches, but we fortunately didn’t find any in our room. Animation and Staff: The animation team was absolutely amazing! Thanks to them, we truly enjoyed our holiday. There were daily activities like pool exercises, pétanque, darts, and even foam parties – there was always something fun to do. The only downside was that most of them didn’t speak English well, so communication could be tricky at times. However, their attitude toward children was fantastic – our daughter adored them. The restaurant staff and bartenders mostly focused on French-speaking guests. Over time, we found a few bartenders who were friendly and attentive – we occasionally gave them a small tip, which they genuinely appreciated. Food: The food was mostly tailored to French guests, which sometimes made it hard for us to choose. But in the end, we always found something to eat. Overall, I would rate the cuisine as average – not bad, but nothing exceptional. Beach: Right next to the resort is a beautiful sandy beach guarded by hotel security. This meant we were not disturbed by vendors trying to sell trips or souvenirs – anyone who tried was promptly asked to leave. A big plus for safety and peace of mind. Evening Program and Bars: What we missed compared to other destinations was a better evening program – no live shows, performances, or entertainment where you could sit down with a good drink and enjoy the night. The selection of drinks at the bars was also quite limited – only a few basic cocktails, nothing special. Summary: Overall, I would rate this holiday positively. We had a good rest, enjoyed the sun, the sea, and the friendly vibe of the resort. While it wasn't the kind of trip that left us speechless or eager to rebook immediately, I don’t regret going and wouldn’t rule out returning in the future.
