I am having a delightful stay at DMCharme. The hotel is very small with only a few rooms in an ideal central town location. The hosts Daniel and Ricardo are excellent hospitable and very friendly and accommodating. The room is very large and comfortable and the WiFi works free and fast without issues. They also have a full size kitchen you can use to cook or prepare anything and they provide cold bottled water in the fridge and cake as well which is nice when in a pinch. Just before checking out, was provided with a small bottle of whiskey? Not sure exactly what type as I don’t drink, but they go the extra mile in making sure you have a comfortable stay.

DMCharme is perfectly located, right in the centre of Ponta Delgada. Our room was huge with a kingsize bed and more storage than you can shake a stick at. The shared dining and living rooms were ideal for relaxing in, and having the kitchen to cook our own meals was really welcome. To top it all off, Daniel was the perfect host - nothing was too much trouble and he gave us real help over the course of our stay.

We had all 4 rooms for our family for 13 nights.Great location and big clean rooms .. .Perfect location, near everything. What makes this place special is Daniel. He is so helpful with everything from ordering taxis to recommending thing's to do and places to eat. Respond 's instantly to messages and is a very pleasant gentleman. Always there to help out.
