Beautiful Views, but Disappointing Experience Overall We were really excited about our stay—on paper, this place seemed perfect: a 2-bedroom condo on the lake with a beautiful pool, restaurant, and bar. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t quite live up to the promise. When we arrived, we found out the pool was closed with no explanation. The restaurant and bar were also shut down, even though there was still a banner outside advertising them as open, and a paper menu left on our bar. The condo itself had a stunning view and the beds were very comfortable, which we appreciated. But the unit clearly needed some attention—our dryer didn’t work, the fridge’s ice and water dispensers were broken, and overall, the space felt lazily cleaned. There was no daily housekeeping, which we could have overlooked if everything else had been running smoothly. There was lake access, which we didn’t realize when booking, but the beach area was unfortunately full of lake debris So this is and not inviting. This place has so much potential—it could be a gem with a little more care, communication, and maintenance. Hopefully, they make some improvements because the location really is beautiful.

If you are looking for a beautiful, fun family resort, KEEP LOOKING! AMENITIES: Be prepared to be let down on the so called “amenities” they offer here. I headed to the pool with my family our one afternoon here, prepared to enjoy the swim up bar and a beautiful lake view. When we got there, we were appalled to find dirty cigarette butts all over the sitting area, a bathroom so dirty it was unusable, and a pool that was so grimy, 2 of my family members slipped getting in! The tile was uneven, making it an unsafe environment for children. Both the restaurant and pool bar were closed the entire afternoon we were there. It states on their website that the bar and restaurant and open “seasonally Tuesday-Saturday, 12-8p”, but not only were we told at check in Wednesday, that it would be closed that evening, but we were told the bar and restaurant would not be open Thursday afternoon until 4p. ROOM/CLEANLINESS: The room we were in had a balcony, and the view from the balcony of the lake was something to enjoy. My husband and I went to sleep talking about how our sheets smelled funky, like chemicals. I woke up with a rash after a night of sleeping in their sheets. The cleaning staff is anything but professional, using the one, slow, elevator all day long. FRONT DESK/$$: Do not trust your place with this money! Before arrival, I called and asked if I could extend my stay one night, to stay a total of 3 nights. They let me know they would overbooked but they would see what they could do. I asked them to please email or call me as I needed to know if I should start looking somewhere else. They never called back confirming anything, and I never got a new confirmation email, so I assumed they couldn’t make it happen. Upon check-in, my stay was as I thought, and stated as 2 nights only. I get my receipt from my stay a few days later, and it had a 3rd night on there. I called to talk to them about this mix-up, and they told me they couldn’t extend my reservation, so they had to create another reservation for me for the 3rd night, which is why it showed at check in only 2 days when I arrived. And that I had confirmed all this over the phone with them (untrue). Then, I get an email from them with my receipt “I signed at check-in” with the check out date pushed out a day later. But on the same receipt, the nightly breakdown only had 2 nights. Of course they deny doctoring any paperwork, but some very shady business is done at this property.

Oof. Where to begin. Avoid this place totally! We went here for the Bluegreen Vacations and it would have been better to tent camp. We went to check in, no staff around or anyone located. Finally checked in, got to room and appears to be older but maybe a few updates. Sheets had stains all over them, showers and bath were DISGUSTING. You smell like blood/iron from using their water in the shower and it’s so nasty. There was slime all over the sinks and bottom of shower/bath. Had a hardly stocked kitchen and had to improvise and call for more things we needed. As simple as bowls or cups. The towels smelled weird. And the pool and “amenities” are non existent. It is an absolute joke. The staff is….up to no good at the hotel. We checked out and I had THIRTEEN charges on my card from there for the card they make you put on file at check in. They claimed we smoked in the room and left a few diapers in the room. We absolutely do not smoke and picked up the room more than we would even a hotel to make it easier. They are very rude and argue about making up lies to get your money after you are gone. My kids and I walked around one night and there are like home cameras set up all over the hallways places in hidden spots and no staff could be found. It felt like we were being pinned and at an abandoned hotel. Horrible experience.
