Do & Co Hotel München

DO & CO is set in a fantastic location, just inside Old Town and only steps away from all the action. The hotel is a short walk from the metro and a wide variety of local and international restaurants. DO & CO is very clean, quiet and the rooms are a good size. What really sets DO & CO above other 5-star hotels is their top service culture. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome. Our plane was 2-hrs late and the driver organised by the hotel waited at the airport. I got the flu and was laid up in bed for two days. We had a hire car and the hotel organised for one of their porters to drive the car with my wife and return the car. It was not close and this is something I have never heard of any other hotel doing. Finally, when I did make it back down stairs, all the staff asked how I was and hoped I felt better. It really did feel like being part of a large family. Special shout out and thank you to Claudius and Maria, and all the other staff. Highly recommended and we’ll be back.

Great location in downtown Munich, but the hotel staff are really what made our stay special. Extra helpful, knowledgeable, and super friendly. Thanks for making our stay memorable and enjoyable.

Booked 2 rooms for 4 nights with my partner and his parents. Weeks prior, we had to cancel one room as my partner’s parent became too ill to travel & requested for a refund for one room with three letters from three different doctors. The hotel told us to discuss this on our check in. We checked into our room but the hotel refused to refund our cancelled room. We were too tired to argue and we ended up asking to check into the cancelled room since we could not get the refund. On checking out, the hotel receptionist offered to book a taxi to the airport for us saying it would be around €125 and told us not to order our own taxi. When the taxi arrived, the receptionist followed us and asked us to pay her direct. I said we preferred to pay the metered taxi. From the hotel to munich airport, we ran into some traffic but our total taxi fee was €90. Very surprised to experience this in Germany! Good hotel location but beware of dodgy staff. Popcorn was nice though. Happy to provide redacted records on PM.
