Excellent location. It's a short stroll to the shopping street and Dogo Onsen where the emperor used to bathe. Rooms were amazing. Modern and clean. One of the best rooms we stayed at in Japan. Food was outstanding. Service was excellent. All the staff were Japanese and spoke a bit of English. The servings were large and there was enough quality proteins. All the staff were very friendly. This was probably the best Ryokan we stayed at in all of Japan.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay, from the soaking in our room's hot tub to the 7-course kaiseki dinner and the local cuisine breakfast! It was truly an authentic experience! It's located 5 min away from Dogo Onsen and the shopping streets. The staff delivered fantastic white-glove service and was so attentive to all our needs that we truly didn't want to leave. Thank you, Dogo Miyu, for a dream stay!
We really enjoyed our stay here. The service was excellent right from the start, with a warm welcome at the entrance and valet parking just outside. The food was delicious, and everyone we interacted with was super friendly and helpful. The location is really convenient—Dogo Onsen is less than a 5-minute walk away. Our room was spacious, clean, and new. Overall, a really comfortable and enjoyable experience
