This hotel is truly charming, making it perfect for a romantic or couple's escape. The ambiance is excellent, offering a calm and relaxed atmosphere in a privileged setting. While the location is superb, it's quite a distance from the city center. Taxi fares into the city can be costly, and while public transport is an option, its viability with luggage is uncertain. All the facilities are exceptionally well-maintained and appear quite new. However, our room had a broken lamp that wouldn't turn on. Although it wasn't a major inconvenience due to a nearby window, it's a detail that could be improved upon. Another area for enhancement is the signage upon entering the premises. Our taxi dropped us off away from reception, requiring us to walk to the entrance. Once there, we discovered two entrances – one for parking and another for reception – which should be better signposted at the main entrance. On a highly positive note, the breakfast was among the best we've experienced and is definitely worth the extra cost. Unfortunately, we were disappointed by the swimming pool's early closing time of 8 PM, which could ideally be extended for guests that are used to having a midnight dip. In summary, this is a delightful hotel that we would gladly revisit.

What a shame ! The hotel its self is wonderful perfect design and location in a wonderful setting. They say don’t judge a book by its cover this is the case for Wyndham Dolce Versailles- We arrived after a 6 hour drive from the south of France the hotel reception queue to check in was 30 people deep with 35 degrees in the main reception- we had two children and were offered a tracker bar and bottle of water ! Due to the heat it was a total joke the staff were terrible we had to wait almost 2 hours to get our room key from 4pm until around six we were told we are busy - then came classic Paris hospitality- worst we have had around the globe the staff were not happy and we could tell they did not want to be there such a shame as the actual building and location is wonderful- shame on the Wyndham group for not hiring or training the staff properly we won’t be heading back any time soon the was issues with the spa and room which was next to a septic tank too but I don’t want to go on - basically if you are English Scottish American Welsh Irish or Australian or New Zealand don’t visit this hotel - what a shame

A Disappointing Stay in an Otherwise Beautiful Setting The hotel is located in a charming countryside area surrounded by nature, which initially sets a pleasant tone for the stay. However, the experience quickly shifts from promise to disappointment. To begin with, parking is inconveniently located far from the reception. A single buggy is available for guest transport, often resulting in delays — especially frustrating upon arrival or departure. The rooms, while seemingly comfortable at first glance, quickly revealed another issue: the television channels. Only a handful of the most basic, uninteresting channels were available. Upon inquiring, I was initially told that only eight channels were missing. In reality, all the main, engaging channels were inaccessible. After further discussion, the manager admitted the issue had been ongoing for over a year due to trees obstructing the satellite dish — something I would not expect from a hotel of this standard. Interestingly, the manager promised the issue would be resolved the following day, which raises questions about why such a long-standing problem would suddenly be fixable. Another low point was the room service. Attempts to reach them by phone were met with silence. No apology, no alternative offered — just a sense of indifference. The overall hospitality was lacking, with no visible effort to make up for the shortcomings or even acknowledge them with sincerity. Despite its natural setting, this hotel fails to meet expectations and leaves guests feeling frustrated. A beautiful environment alone cannot compensate for a clear lack of service, responsiveness, and basic hospitality.
