Dom Pedro Madeira

We were staying for 10 days and even if the hotel looks a little bit outdatet it is really clean and homey, the room was located on the second floor and we also had a balcony with an amaizing view on the ocean and the mountains. You can also see the planes landing and taking off witch for me was awesome. The staff are realy hospitable and nice, they help you with all requests if at all possible and are realy friendly. If you want to plan your activities they will gladly help you at the reception with any reservations. We took the all inclusive package and had a very delicious breakfast every morning with a lot of choices, the lunch we skipped a couple of times but when we went it was also very good but the dinner was for my taste fantastic almost every evening with a lot of different choices from meat and fish to side dishes and salads, but the best part was the desserts table which always had a lot of different desserts and also lots of fruit and always at least 2 choiches of cheese platers. The restaurant staff are also realy friendly and attentive. Also in the package are a lot of drinks such as soft drinks or alcoholic beverages and even if not all cocktails are included you surr can find something to your taste. So all in all i was really pleased with our stay at Dom Pedro Madeira

What a wonderful experience we had at this hotel! It couldn't have been more convenient, located just a stone's throw from the airport, yet it felt like a true escape thanks to its beautiful setting right on the ocean shore. Our room was a haven of cleanliness, and waking up to that incredible ocean view each morning was simply perfect. And let's not forget the breakfast! It was a true highlight, with such a fantastic variety that absolutely everyone could find something to enjoy.

One night stay before an early flight. We were lucky to get a room away from the main building, on the 2nd floor, with a clear and breathtaking view of the bay – stunning! The breakfast was very good, but it’s true that even right at opening time, the buffet area was already crowded. The hotel is huge. The rooms are very clean but would need a renewal, the hotel is far to be modern, but it's OK. 10 min to the airport by car! However, I was really disappointed by the receptionist, who handed me a paper in front of my man writing and showing the amount I "had to pay at the front desk upon arrival." It was very awkward because this was meant to be a surprise gift for him, and he wasn’t supposed to know the price (our most expensive hotel I'm Madeira) I had already entered my credit card when booking, so I thought the payment was taken care of, or at least this could have been mentioned more discreetly. It completely ruined the mood and created tension at the start of our stay.
