We had a fantastic three-day stay at this hotel! Everything was perfect — the hotel itself is beautiful, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious. The location is amazing, with stunning views and everything within easy reach. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Honestly, there’s nothing negative to say — it was a gorgeous stay from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone!

The hotel is old, and it shows. BUT, due to its construction era, the rooms are large and ALL had a bedroom and a lounge. Very comfortable. Service was OK. The bar area and dining areas a bit small. The location was 5 star as we were within easy walking distance of many bars and restaurants

This is not a good hotel. Absolutely not 4 stars. The only reason I am not giving 1 star is because the breakfast was good. We stayed for a week and a number of terrible things happened. 1 - The wi fi was so slow it was virtually un-useable. Even downstairs in the lobby. We had to constantly switch to 5G data on our phones to access even basic websites. 2 - The beds were VERY uncomfortable. Old and soft mattresses which gave us back pains 3 - The hotel has a policy of putting water into the shower gel dispensers in the bathroom, when the shower gel bottle is half full. We noticed immediately as it was suddenly very watery and was useless. It then completely ran out and we had to ask reception to bring us more, as we could not take a shower. They said it was coming but nothing came. The next day, we asked again, and they brought us a small body lotion tube! We said we needed shower gel. Eventually, Filipe from reception brought some to our room, and angrily handed it over. Appalling. Other guests mentioned they experienced the same with the water in the shower gel dispensers. 4 - We went to the bar by the pool and asked for a Mojito cocktail jug. They gave us a jug containing only juice, sugar and ice. Zero alcohol. We complained and they took it away and said they would rectify it. It came back the same. No alcohol. We were not prepared to argue any more. We left the jug at the bar and told reception what happened. They were not bothered. They all knew this was another one of their scams at this hotel. 5 - The shower was rubbish with little power. And it went hot and cold if other guests in the hotel used theirs at the same time. 6 - We booked a boat tour and the price suddenly went up by 5 euros per person, as the hotel took commission without telling us. 7 - There is a tiny car park, which is ALWAYS full. You have to park in other venues car parks. 8 - Room service is hit and miss. Sometimes they will refill you with 2 teabags, other times not. 9 - The Air Con although working, barely cools the room. It is a hotel wide system so all rooms are the same. 10 - The TV remote control was so sticky and grimy we could not sure it. We tried cleaning it but to no avail. 11 - We could hear the lifts going up and down all night. We had to use ear plugs to sleep. 12 - Only 6 umbrellas for approx sun loungers by the pool - but this is due to lack of space Most reception staff were nice but a couple were awful (Filipe) . The hotel is old and outdated. The rooms look tired and in need of a revamp. There are much better hotels in the area. We won't be coming back here.
