Domaine De Grand Baie

Spent the weekend there with family. The apartments were so spacious/clean and wonderful. The buffet was really good too. This place is a great getaway spot!! 😍 All the staffs are so friendly & helpful. BIG THANKS to Mr Ryan especially who served us, helped us and gave us the best service ever, i was completely impressed with his professionalism. It was an incredible stay!

We had a lovely stay at Domaine de Grand Baie! The staffs were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Our room was clean, modern and had a nice view. The food was really nice. We would definitely be back and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

We spent our first two nights in Mauritius at Domaine de Grand Baie, and while there were some positives, our experience was mixed overall. The photos of the rooms are, unfortunately, far more flattering than the reality. The accommodations felt a bit tired and did not quite meet our expectations in terms of comfort or presentation. The buffet was another disappointment — options were quite limited, and several dishes had already run out by the time we arrived, even though we always came near the start of service. That said, the staff were truly the highlight of our stay. Almost every team member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which we deeply appreciated. While it may not meet the standards of a luxury resort, this property could serve well as a budget-friendly option for a longer stay, especially for those who prioritize value over aesthetics. Additionally, the range of activities offered was impressive, even surpassing what we’ve seen at higher-end resorts — a definite plus for guests looking to stay active and engaged.
