5/5 Just the perfect authentic French village experience! I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet and peaceful stay in the Beaujolais wine valley. The room was perfectly clean, very modern and stylish, which is such a rarity for old mansions! Would definitely come back!
After a fairly long drive we were given a warm welcome and time to settle in to our canopy bed room. After a wonderful walk on the trails around the property we experienced a gorgeous multi course meal with a local Beaujolais and conversation with the host. It was a special time that I was hoping for to enjoy the culture and countryside. The next day we visited Frederic Berne wineries and were not disappointed. I wish we could have stayed longer. I highly recommend.
Had a great experience with the hospitable owners of this medieval house located in the Beaujolais district. Definitely recommend this place to anyone trying to spend a few days in an authentic French village.
