Domaine du Lac d'Harrieta

Perfect place to be quiet and rest. Lack of outdoor equipment, a leisure area for children, and a "beach" at the lake to relax. Ideal rental for 6 people, but not for 8 because the convertible sofa is outdated and very uncomfortable (or provide an inflatable mattress). Big downside: the soundproofing between the two rentals is non-existent, you have to find a tenant who respects his neighborhood, something we did not have the second week.

Access to the site costs €2.50 per person. We couldn't even take a look at the lake. All this way through the small winding roads was for nothing. We lost an hour. Don't go there if you are not ready to pay.

I am going to the site today with my 8 year old son. Here is what the tourism website 64 says: "Children's fishing special: a fishpond containing large quantities of rainbow trout is located near the reception building of the Domaine d'Harrieta. Ideal for introducing young people to fishing, this pool allows beginners to undoubtedly catch fish. Fishing rods and bait are provided free of charge." It was nothing of the sort. When I arrived the person at reception told us that it was no longer accessible!! In short, we paid €10 to go to the big body of water, from where we left empty-handed after 2 hours... Disappointment. The sites which indicate this possibility are not up to date ATTENTION! So go elsewhere, it's not worth it!!
