Domaine du Liziec Vannes MGallery Collection

The hotel site was wonderful and the hotel itself extremely nice. The room, spa/pool and restaurant were all great. Bit of a trek into central Vannes (also worth a visit) but if you've got your car it's no problem. Lots of good parking in the town.

Had a suite room 132 which looked out over the front of the building which is a recently redeveloped French Chateau surrounded by extensive grounds. A large Versailles type formal layout garden and mature woodland make a stay here very relaxing. . The hotel only recently became fully operational and there are issues that need to be addressed ( nowhere to hang a towel in the monster size bathroom, safe deposit box missing from room - although one was fitted during our stay, which highlighted the premium service. Evidence of ongoing building works in grounds and outdoor car parks ). Superb breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant and a gourmet formal dining restaurant is also on site as well as a great bar area. Secure 'under the hotel' car parking. We did not use the indoor swimming pool or the Spa facilities or fitness room but I am sure that they would be first class. A return visit next year will no doubt see the Domaine du Liziec as a true gem in the 'M Gallery' crown after a period of maturity and consolidation. We recently stayed at the MGallery Domaine du Liziec in room #145 and had an exceptional experience! The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed, a huge TV, and a Nespresso machine—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The bathroom was spotless, though we felt that adding something on the window for a bit more privacy would be ideal since it faces the soon-to-be lovely garden. The restaurant had a cool and inviting ambiance where we enjoyed both breakfast and dinner during our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and skilled, making us feel warmly welcomed throughout. The spa facilities were clean and well-equipped with a hammam and sauna. We appreciated the relaxing massage with Ella Baché brands—it was a true highlight! One suggestion would be to add more hangers for bathrobes or towels within the spa area for convenience. Lastly, while the stairwell was functional, a clearer signage system (beyond the emergency exit signs) would improve navigation. Overall, our stay was tip-top, and we can’t wait to return.
