Domes Miramare a Luxury Collection Resort Corfu Adults Only

We stayed for 8 nights and really enjoyed our time at the hotel - we would definitely go back! I’ve tried to highlight some of the best aspects and some areas for improvement: Best Aspects 1. Location and ambiance: Beautiful hotel with an understated design and peaceful atmosphere. The scenery and plants were fantastic and the beach and pools were nice. 2. Staff: All very friendly and attentive, and they absolutely went out of their way to help. They all have positive attitudes and really do go the extra mile. 3. Food: The breakfast buffet was very good and there was variety and quality provided everyday. I really don’t think you will find a better breakfast elsewhere. In addition, the restaurants served particularly good food and were in fantastic settings. 4. Rooms: Very clean and modern. Air con was excellent and room service was good. 5. Striving to be better: The hotel really gave the impression that it wants to do everything it can to make the experience positive and welcoming. My feedback (highlighted below) was really taken seriously by the hotel and they were proactive in resolving the minor issues. Very refreshing to see! 6. Transfers: The hotel arranged our transfers which were very luxurious and well priced. Areas of improvement 1. Towels: The hotel seemed to be slow at putting beach/pool towels out in the morning and frequently ran out during the day. 2. Service: The staff are all excellent but seemed to struggle to keep up with the demand. We waited for about 30 minutes for the bill after our evening meal on one occasion and coffee in the mornings sometimes took 10/15 minutes to arrive. 3. Shuttle to Old Town: The shuttle was very busy and felt overpriced. We also ended up sitting backwards which, given the windy roads, made us feel sick. It really took away from the luxury feel the hotel otherwise provides.

We really enjoyed our week-long stay here. Our room was a good size, with a balcony and almost on the beach. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and kept in excellent condition. The staff were fantastic – friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. Breakfast offered plenty of good options. We chose to eat at local restaurants instead of the hotel’s, with some lovely tavernas within walking distance and others a little further away. A few small issues kept it from being a perfect 5-star rating, but overall, it was a great choice and we’d happily return.

It's a beautiful hotel we had a pool view room on the ground floor. The staff are polite and attentive. Eve in the Blue Bar especially helpful and a lovely genuine person. The pool and beachfront are beautiful, the bar and entertainment was wonderful DO NOT MISS THE BLUEBIRD TRIO. The 1962 restaurant is lovely for breakfast but in the evening the food is not great and the service disjointed, if you ask any question the staff go off to find out the answer they don't seem to know the very basics of the menu or wine list. Overall a lovely stay. Hope this part helps, in August there are a lot of wasps, the Greek wasp is not as aggressive as the wonderful ones we have in more Northern Europe but if you are used to those wasps it's in your head and you'll find them difficult to deal with. The burning coffee grounds do nothing I've seen many wasps flying around in the smoke citronella the same. By the pool you can manage them as it's just one or two now and then but if you're a person who's nervous about wasps DO NOT EAT OUTSIDE I witnessed many people with 5-6 wasps in and on their food while eating. The staff are helpful and you can take pool bar food into the restaurant or use the room service, breakfast has an inside area. In the evenings just eat a little later, after 8pm and they are all gone.
