Super hotel, big modern rooms, busy and friendly staff. Pool wasnt filled in March and we didnt try the spa treatments as we had 2 kids with us.
This hotel has a nice aesthetic appeal on the surface but on closer inspection or upon even using any of the services you become aware of glaring problems and evident mismanagement. First I would warn anyone wanting to use the pool or outside bar service. First bring your own towel or be prepared to pay a 2€ fee for a pool towel rental. The pools itself was clean and refreshing if a little small for the size of the establishment. The bathroom adjacent to the bathroom were not clean and lacked any toilet paper. Additionally there was no staff to ask or point towards the concern. The only staff member was 1 lady working at the indoor/outdoor bar location. This was the 2nd issue as it was around 3-4pm many guests were relaxing from at hot day at the pool and queuing up for drinks. 1 bartender was wildly insufficient for the demand while also apparently being the only employee to take fulfill and deliver room service requests. The employee was pleasant and courteous but did lack a sense of urgency, it felt that maybe this was not her primary job. WiFi: the hotel offers free WiFi. This WiFi even after speaking to hotel staff does not work. There is insufficient coverage for the whole hotel resulting in multiple hotspots that do not all use the same password as well at almost all of them failing to actually connect to the internet. Waste of time trying and such a basic service in 2025. The rooms were spacious and clean however the temperate of the rooms was uncomfortable. I understand energy saving measures but being unable to get the room down to at least 23/24C after spending a long day in the sun is more than frustrating. Couples with sheet sets that were not a cooling material created long and uncomfortable overnight. Additionally the showers in our room had not been serviced in sometime as the rainfall shower head was not releasing water from the holes, instead it was leaking from the side of the head creating less of a rainfall and more of a garden hose experience. Thank you for having emergency cords at an appropriate level in the shower this is something often missing or incorrect in other Italian hotels we have visited. This could be a truly great location if the management staffed it properly and took attention to basic guest service/standard. This should not be rated a 4 star establishment.
Not sure how they don’t have power for the AC but they have power to host several parties that last until 1:30 am. Poor planning and design - not sure who thought it was a good idea to host parties with hundreds of people steps away from where people are trying to sleep. Unacceptable to have no AC for days. Food was gross, beds were hard as concrete floors.
