Domus Hyblaea

Wow, super nice location, the view is amazing. The host cinzia is super friendly and helpful. The food is exceptional.

We stayed with Cinzia and Chris from Boxing day, through New Year for 10 days. This place, the staff, the chef Daniele and the hosts were the most attentive and kindest people you could wish to meet. It felt like we were welcomed as family. Stunning scenery, impeccable gardens and tranquility. A real gem. It's also a great base to investigate south east Sicily with Siracusa, Catania, Noto, Modica and Caltagirone within easy reach. The resort is at 600m altitude in the Hyblea mountains so expect it to be a bit cooler than the coast. We had a beautiful small stone built house with kitchen and bathroom and an aircon system that doubles as a heater. The beds were (thankfully) very firm and comfortable which was a bonus because we've had several holidays ruined by bad beds. Lastly, the restaurant is really good. A lot of love has been put into the food, as with everything at Domus Hyblea.

Our stay at this resort was truly exceptional! The owners are incredibly hospitable, and the cook prepares delicious meals. The property is immaculate, with modern and beautifully designed rooms. It's such a remarkable place that you won't want to leave. We can't wait to return and highly recommend it to everyone!
