Domus Julia Trevi Spagna

We wanted someplace in this part of Rome, and the reviews were favorable. This is a 2-3* place, but the welcome was warm, the room clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Good price, too.

Be aware before booking!!! - Poorly soundproofed, shower and other noises audible from other rooms; noises from the hallway clearly audible - Mold in the bathroom was poorly painted over - Mold in the bedroom - One of the towels had a brown stain - Room did not look clean, long hair on the bedside table, lampshade was completely dusty, brown joints in the bathroom - No phone reception and no WiFi in the room - Old furniture - Unfriendly receptionist, when mentioning the circumstances

The only good thing about this place the beds were comfortable. I think is a couple of bedrooms in someone's apartment....and not worth more than 80 euros for real! There is a 2 star hotel on the side called Hotel Julia. That is why you think you are booking a hotel but is not. They gave us in the other business, the hotel a number to open the doors! Terrible. There are at least 5 nice hotels, boutique hotel or B&B literally steps away. Shower is mini-tint, does not have per say a shower but a phone-shower ...towels are like all different....I deeply regret staying there had my breakfast every day in a boutique hotel steps away from that...room, not even luxury room as it says in the door. Maybe it looked like those pics but not anymore. Besides that people wanting the extra money for the city tax and the number to open my room didn't had more interaction. To access the room is an always open door that goes in a dark aisle.
