Domus Maggiore

The hotel was really great. If I can give it any more stars, I will the management treat you with respect. Breakfast was always included. It’s right next to the restaurant. You have a beautiful view of the church. The staff really treat you with respect. They help you when needed. Everything’s always clean. The management is the best. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a hotel to come here, and the location is awesome near all the finest restaurants in Rome.

Our room was very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The air conditioner was fantastic for an afternoon nap (the heat in Rome was next level). The bathrooms are small but functional so didn’t bother us at all. Only a 10 minute walk from the Termini Station which made for easy navigation as first timers in Rome after getting off the airport shuttle bus. Make sure to book a room facing the street for some good people watching and a gorgeous view of the Basilica across the street. The included breakfast option was great value and the staff at Bar Cottini are helpful. Make sure to learn a few Italian phrases and manners, it goes a long way. NOTE: Make sure to also go into Bar Cottini (cafe on the corner) to check in. We lapped the blocked a few times as there is no sign next to the main door but that is standard for Domus style accommodation in Rome.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at this hotel. The check in process was very easy, we appreciate the fact that the hosts were very friendly and that breakfast from the lovely cafe right next door was included in the stay. Our room with the balcony was perfect for the two of us and it was very clean. The location was prime and we walked to most destinations.
