Domus Mariae Benessere

We stayed at the Domus Marie Albergo just across the road from Benessere, slightly closer to the sea. David was amazing during our entire stay; welcoming, cheerful and endlessly helpful to ensure our stay in Siracusa was perfect. His recommendations for places to eat and drink were ideal on each occasion. Breakfast at Benessere was also delicious and serviced with a smile. We only met Cynthia on our last morning but she gave us great guidance on places to visit for the rest of our trip around Sicily. A great experience and highly recommend.

I was embarassed that they cleared out the entire spa just for me, because I am a man and this hotel is actually a convent run by actual nuns! My hour-long spa session was very VIP and I was amazed by the fact that such an exquisite spa was completely full of beautiful Italian and Turkish marble. There was an incredible storm outside, and we had a front row seat from our seafront window. An unusual but interesting place, for sure.

Room was spacious and very clean. Beds were comfortable giving us an excellent sleep. Little noise could be heard from outside. Breakfast was good. Service and staff were very polite and helpful. Hotel is well positioned for all island sights.
