The rooms are large, well-decorated, and boast an enormous, comfortable bed guaranteeing a restful night's sleep. A highlight is undoubtedly the fantastic shower, a welcome luxury after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast at Domus Zamittello is a delightful affair. While it's not a buffet, you order directly from the waiters, ensuring a fresh and high-quality meal. Although service can occasionally be a little slow, the excellent quality of the food more than makes up for it. A personal recommendation: the omelette with ham and cheese is spectacular! The only minor drawback I noted was the orange juice, which seemed slightly watered down. For those seeking relaxation, the hotel offers a lovely sun terrace with expansive views of Valletta, perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying the picturesque scenery. Overall, Domus Zamittello provides a truly memorable and highly recommended stay in Valletta.

Booked this holiday for August 2023 for an anniversary. The hotel is very artsy and has a lot of charm, and it's also very well located — on the main street, yet not deep into it. You can practically enter the capital city of Valletta, and you're already there. Domus Zamittello is listed as a luxury hotel, but it was actually very affordable. There is no pool, but there is a nice rooftop terrace where you can see the busy street right outside. The staff have to be the best group of people in the hospitality industry I have ever had dealings with. The cleaning staff always leave a wrapped piece of chocolate on our pillows every time they clean the room, and the staff on the ground floor were just so kind, accommodating, and very friendly. I had plantar fasciitis when I was visiting, and the staff have gone above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They provided me a wheelchair, and have also provided me buckets of ice to ease my pain. Our room was originally on a higher floor, and it required a bit of a walk to get to, but the management changed our room to a duplex-type, with a couch that turns into a bed, and an additional bed upstairs — it was also directly outside the lift/elevator, so I didn't need to walk so often. I want to give special shout outs to these staff members, because they really cemented the chances of us staying at this hotel again. Moul, general manager - went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Maria, guest relations manager - always has a smile on her face and provided anything we needed. She also gave us small gifts for our anniversary, which she really didn't have to do. Ryan, receptionist - very kind, friendly, and helpful. Samson, receptionist - the Pakistani gentleman who was available most of the time we went downstairs. Very helpful and provided us with a good list of places to eat that were halal. Saurabh, waiter - his hospitality made eating in the breakfast room very enjoyable. He also brought food up to our floor when I wasn't able to walk. Fabian, the receptionist - another kind receptionist who I unfortunately haven't had much contact with. Definitely going back to Domus Zamittello, and a big part of it is because of the staff members.

We stayed in room 45 for 3 night and were happy with our stay! Staff & Manager are super friendly - location is superb! Only 5 min walk from the Valletta Gates/ Bus Terminal/ Upper Barracks. Breakfast is included and good. Would definitely stay here again for the superb location and lovely Terrace. Hotel is located across from the Wembley store.
