Don Giulio Luxury Rooms

We stayed at Dons! Cant say enough, location is great the owner is awesome. As reviews have noted Vico Equense is between Sorrento and Pompeii. We had the top apartment with a large outdoor deck. Adjacent is another rooftop deck with bar and stairs leading to another rooftop with great views with a hot tub. Restaurants are plentiful but Dons is affiliated with L'Universita which is large & modern. The big menu, aged steaks were available. Trains are nearby walk and the Ferry goes to Capr and back but we opted to Sorrento for a walkabout and short train back. So glad we stayed out of Sorrento and Capri -to busy and so so touristy.

Firstly, Vico Equense is a lovely little town with good rail links to naples, pompeii, and Sorrento. We stayed in the two bedroom apartment. It had everything you needed, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, a balcony, and access to the bar area and communal jacuzzi and bar on the roof with views of Mount Vesuvius The owner of the apartment was good enough to arrange for a friend to take us to Naples when we were leaving as there was a train strike, and we were really stuck. My only criticism would be that the mattress wasn't to my taste, and I did end up with a sore back, but I think that's only because it wasn't what I am used to. Over all 5* and I would definitely recommend..
