Don Ugo Luxury Rooms

This hotel is steps for the beach and the old town. Stefano is a great resource for good food and attractions. He helped us get a spot at lido isola Bella- first row, right by the water. He recommended a great pizza spot for a quick late night meal. He gave us a bottle of Champagne for our last night. The breakfast included was simple and culturally delicious.

We had such a fantastic stay at Don Ugo whose location is just perfect ! We loved everything and would definitely go back there! The room had just been renovated and it is very modern, spacious, comfortable and spotless. We also enjoyed the breakfast which was included (especially the American breakfast!) More than in an impersonal hotel, Stefano (the owner) has been so friendly, helpful and thoughtful that he made our stay memorable. He gave us the best restaurants addresses, great tips for our visits and even helped us when we had a problem with our car! Clearly deserves 5 stars 😊

Excellent stay. Special shoutout to Stefano for being extremely helpful and responsive all the time. We really appreciate the hospitality. The room was spacious for our family of 4, clean and comfortable. The cafe was very nice for breakfast and the food was very good. The beach is a very short walk out of the room and down the stairs. There is a beautiful lido right at the bottom of the stairs, overall amazing experience wish we had more time in Tropea we will definitely be back and I highly recommend Don Ugo!
