Donautica Hotel & Restaurant

I have a dilemma. How do I praise this place for the factual greatness without attracting too much attention to it? And I do not want to attract too much attention because I want to always have a chance to book there. Kitchen is the star here, as well as the table service. Well bloody done, team, 10/10! You can come here just for the dinner. Service 10/10. Rooms, I only stayed 1 night in early spring 2025, and my room was 10/10. The only gripe is the location. Why oh why is this gem so away from main roads? It's still on the shore of Danube, you can jump-swim from hotel's pool into the River. But getting there takes a bit of patience. Maybe it's meant to be like this?🙂

Always stay there when we have our supplier visits in Tolna. Great hotel with a nice view on the water. Good restaurant included.

My favorite wellness hotel in Hungary so far. We had a wonderful time at Donautica. We spent a weekend there mid March. The weather was great - around 16 °C during the day - perfect for enjoying the excellent wellness facilities. The welness area is not big, but perfectly-sized for the amount of guests. The sauna is spacious, clean and has the right temperature. I really loved spending some time in the cold pool before sitting in the warm jacuzzi. One of the highlights of our stay was, that we went for a short tour with the el-bikes provided by the hotel. The service was top-quality. All the stuff was super friendly. You could tell, that people really loved working at this place. Food was delicious. What I really like about this hotel is, that it is relatively small compared to similar hotels in Hungary, and even when it is fully booked, it is not over-crowded. I would love to return in the summer sometime, as it seemed, there were plenty things to do when the weather is hot.
