Donovan's Out of the Blue

Amazing stay! The restaurant service was outstanding – seated right away, no waiting, and the waiters were fast, friendly, and had everything perfectly under control. The management coordinated and organized everything brilliantly. Highly recommend! I visited this Hotel as a woman traveling with two kids.

If you are expecting 5 star quality, you will be disappointed. The rooms could use a refurbishment, at least replace the mattresses with new ones. The uncomfortable bed greatly reduces a good holiday experience. The rooms were clean. I was satisfied with the quality of cleaning. The staff was nice. The choice of food was sufficient, the quality was good, I appreciated the very tasty desserts. The meat from the grill was tough. The absolute best experience was visiting the hotel's fish restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing. It was a short walk to the sea, the beach was clean.

I rarely leave bad reviews but this hotel was a huge letdown, especially for a 5-star hotel. Even though we had a beautiful sea view, a decent buffet, and really kind staff, that’s pretty much the only positive thing I can say. The housekeeping was terrible, slow, careless, and unclean. They took our towels and only brought them back a full day later. We found cockroaches in our grandma’s bathroom,we killed them and left them there, expecting housekeeping to clean it up but guess what? They didn’t. The cockroaches stayed there for almost two days. The overall cleanliness was unacceptable. Dirty trays sat in the hallway for hours, and our room never felt properly cleaned. For the price we paid, it was a huge disappointment.
