Dooleys Capella Tavern and Motel

What a great place to stay - rooms are modern, spacious, well equipped and most importantly very clean. Doesn’t look much from the outside, but inside rooms have good noise and temperature insulation and are very comfortable. Steak for dinner at attached tavern was also good value and fast service. Worth the short trip out of emerald compared to some of their local motels.

room was clean on day one, first day my room was left open there was nothing done or cleaned in my room so wondered why they had even gone in. i spoke with the lady in the restaurant about it and she reported it. the restaurant staff were excellent, very friendly and made the stay. meals were a bit average but on the 3rd night my salmon was excellent. id want my room serviced at least once in 4 nights unfortunately i got zero new towels or any type of room serviced during my stay. My bill had many items added that weren't had. Breakfast and lunch was added every day when I didn't have it. The only reason I found this out was because they charged me a lost key fee. I had returned the key. If I hadn't seen this I was charged $180 extra. I got the refund but find it strange they automatically add meals. I won't return.

Nice rooms, nice enough staff. Wait an hour for my meal when I'm the only person there. Said they forgot then served it completely raw. Got a refund and went to the service station. Won't be back.
